Our Mission
The mission of the Lady Maverick Volleyball program is to provide a safe environment for young women to reach their athletic, academic, social, and emotional potential. Our program goals and values align with the Maverick mindset and the mission of Pasadena Memorial High School.
We strive to teach our athletes the meaning of “Mav Pride” and the importance of competing with passion and integrity. Through a foundation of discipline, accountability, words of affirmation, and consistency, athletes are equipped to overcome adversity and grow both on and off the court.
The Lady Maverick Volleyball program fosters a family environment that is inclusive of all coaches and athletes, empowering young women with the skills and mindset necessary for long-term success.
Accountability: Every player takes responsibility for their actions, effort, and attitude. We hold ourselves and each other to high standards, both on and off the court.
Discipline: Success comes from consistent effort and focus. We show up prepared, follow team expectations, and push ourselves beyond comfort zones.
Integrity: We do the right thing even when no one is watching. Honesty, sportsmanship, and respect define how we compete and interact with others.
Hard Work: There are no shortcuts to greatness. We commit to relentless effort in practice, conditioning, and competition to achieve our goals.
Unity: Volleyball is a team sport, and we are stronger together. We trust, support, and uplift one another, creating a culture of respect and belonging.
Servant Leadership: True leaders serve their teammates. We lead by example, put the team’s needs above our own, and create an environment where everyone can thrive.
