Welcome back to school!! We are excited about the start of the 2023-2024 school year and know that this is going to be a very successful year for the Bondy Band program. This site will host the information you need for assignments and to be prepared for class.

Meet Mr. Bowlin:
Meet Mr. Bowlin:
The 2023-2024 school year will be Mr. Bowlin's 19th year of teaching and his 13th year at Bondy Intermediate School. He holds both a Bachelor and Master degree in Music Education from Hardin-Simmons University.
Saxophone is his primary instrument, but Mr. Bowlin also loves playing clarinet, trombone, and tuba.
Mr. Bowlin is the TMEA Region 19 JH Band Coordinator and also plays piano/keyboards for his church, Bay Area Church in League City
His wife teaches music at Teague Elementary School. He also has three children ages 18, 15, and 11.
When not teaching, Mr. Bowlin loves spending time cooking, hanging out with his family, and playing video games.
Meet Mr. Cruz:
Meet Mr. Cruz:
This is Mr. Cruz's second year at Bondy Intermediate School. He holds a Bachelor of Music Education from Baylor University.
His primary instrument is the Euphonium, but he enjoys playing the Trombone, French Horn, and Clarinet.
Prior to joining the Patriot Band, Mr. Cruz taught at Kendrick Middle School for 5 years. Mr. Cruz is a Pasadena native having attended both Queens Intermediate School and Pasadena High School.
He is married and has a 6 year old daughter fixing to start 1st Grade.
When not teaching, Mr. Cruz enjoys spending time playing games with his friends and family, trying out new types of food, and watching movies!
