Founder, Surillo Productions LLC | Producer | LAGCC Alumnus | He/Him+
A Brooklyn-born creative, Patrick Anthony Surillo has built a career as a versatile Stage Manager, Production Manager, Educator, and now, the owner of Surillo Productions LLC.
As a proud alumnus of the LaGuardia Community College Theatre Program, Patrick understands the unique potential of this community. He has returned to LAGCC with a singular focus: to amplify the voices of community college students in the professional industry.
Currently pursuing his graduate degree at The New School, Patrick’s research focuses on sustainable production models and artist advocacy. The Artist Incubator is the culmination of this work—a capstone project designed not just to study the creative process, but to actively facilitate it for the next generation of talent.
Patrick is proud to partner with LPAC's Rough Draft Festival and The 24 Hour Plays to bring this vision to life, combining the infrastructure of a festival with the agility of independent producing.
"I created The Artist Incubator because I believe the gap between 'student' and 'professional' shouldn't be a leap—it should be a bridge."
Patrick designed this intensive specifically for LAGCC students to provide a hands-on, low-risk/high-reward environment. His goal is to give students a realistic taste of the industry while maintaining a safety net for bold experimentation.

Is excited to return to theater as part of the producing committee on this project. Their love of the stage began at home, watching worn VHS tapes of Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers, Judy Garland, Diana Ross in The Wiz, and—most notably—Bette Davis in All About Eve, possibly the greatest old-timey movie about the theater ever made, in his humble opinion. That early joy blossomed into a lasting passion in high school, where performing became both a creative outlet and a space for self-discovery. Playing a gender-bent Oscar Madison in The Odd Couple not only affirmed Mo’s love of theater, but also their queerness and belief in storytelling as a tool for possibility and liberation.
Outside the theater, Mo works as Program Coordinator for the Stonewall Inn Gives Back Initiative (SIGBI) and as a grant manager with the Environmental Leadership Program. A lifelong performer at heart, they love singing in cabaret and are deeply grateful to be back in the collaborative, joyful process of making theater.
