STAGE 6

LEARNING FOR MISSION

PURPOSE OF STUDY

To offer a coherent integration of mission experiential and inquiry based encounters and deep learning that challenges students to engage in the mission life of the church and consider their possible connection to the mission of Jesus in their lives beyond school.

AIM

Learning for Mission Stage 6, seeks to integrate experiences of learning that are a combination of the head, heart and hands and that culminate in a portfolio of learning that invites students to communicate a deep understanding of how their experience of being educated within a Catholic School has shaped and influenced them in their current and future lives.

RATIONALE

“What makes Catholic education distinctive and worthwhile for us to dedicate ourselves to it, I believe, is the formation of our students and communities into people and places that embody the Reign of God”.
