Quicktime on the Mac

Quicktime is built in to Mac Laptops.  It is  a great tool for creating screencasts.

Screencastify is a simple effective screencasting tool available as a Chromebrowser extension that allows you to create and edit screencasts that save straight to your drive. Screencastify is a great learning and teaching tool for explanations, feedback and procedurals, especially in this time of remote learning.
