WAT NEXT is the new CPD offer from the Watford Partnership for Teacher Training, led by Parmiter's School, launching in September 2026.
The programme is an evidence-informed approach to professional development, where participants develop their educational passions to lead change.
The programme is inspired by Dr David Frost's work on Non-Positional Teacher Leadership, building on the legacy of the Herts Cam Network.
WAT NEXT is for anyone working in schools in the Watford Partnership who wants develop their leadership and to make a positive change in education.
It is open to teachers and support staff at all stages of their careers.
WAT NEXT involves attending six facilitated sessions across the academic year, as well as two networking events and two tutorials. Participants create a portfolio of development work throughout the year, which is submitted in the summer term.
Please see the links at the top of this page that outline each of the sessions, together with their provisional dates.
If you'd like to take advantage of the opportunity to be in our first cohort of WAT NEXT participants, please register your interest by filling in this form by 1 June 2026.
We will be holding an onboarding session at Parmiter's School on Tuesday 7 July 2026, 4-5pm.
