Task Descriptors

• How many books can you read? - Are you a fast reader? How about you put your skills to the test this summer, by seeing how many books you can read?

  • • Submission information - Please attach a word document containing the number of books you have read. You MUST include the names of every single book that you have read.

    • House point breakdown - 1 point per book entry, 1st place = +5 points, 2nd place = +3 points, 3rd place = +1 point

• Write a review for a chosen book - Put your feelings on paper by giving us a review! What did you like? What did you dislike? Could the plot be improved?

  • • Submission information - Please attach a word document containing the review for your chosen book. If you have decided to write more than one review, please include all reviews in the same document.

• Create a storyboard for a chosen book - This is an opportunity to flaunt your artistic skills! What does the plot look like from your point of view?

• Create a video re-enactment of a part from a chosen book - Show us your acting skills!

• Watch a film based on a book and compare the similarities and differences - Has your favourite book been turned into a film? Did the director get the plot right?

• Create a response to a book in the form of art (e.g. model, painting, drawing, etc) - Think outside the box for this one and recreate the plot in art form!

• Read a specified book - Pick a genre outside your taste!

  • • Choose from: sci-fi, mystery, dystopian, non-fiction, horror, autobiographical/biographical.

    • Submission information - Specify the book you have chosen in the Submission Form.
