Why South Serves?
Community service is an essential part of connecting students to the community they live in. Increasing visibility about community issues, building empathy for those around them, and making it a better place for all of us to live in helps students grow as members of our society both now and in the future.
Parkway South High is holding its 1st Annual “Day of Service: South Serves” on Thursday, April 18th, 2024. On this day, all students and staff will participate in various service projects to give back to our school and the St. Louis Regional Area. We have partnered with many non-profit organizations that will provide hands-on activities during the day that include school beautification projects, deep cleaning classrooms, preparing meals for the homeless, serving at local and state parks, and volunteering at animal shelters and food pantries.
