Longhorn Council (LoCo) is the Parkway West student government organization.

EVERY WEST HIGH STUDENT is a part of the Longhorn Council and is invited and encouraged to participate in all events.

Our EXECUTIVE BOARD is a group of student leaders who are responsible for the planning and execution of our student events. Some of these events include homecoming, spirit weeks, pep assemblies, an annual dodgeball tournament, king of hearts dance, glow dance, and many more. The purpose of many of these events is not only to engage the student body, but also to raise money for our community. In the past, this included the West community and organizations such as Every Child's Hope, Make-A-Wish, Friends of Kids with Cancer, and more.
