The Hobbit 

The book The Hobbit by J.R.R. Tolkien is a novel in which a hobbit named Bilbo goes on an adventure to steal the treasure from the evil dragon Smaug. Some of the best parts include when Bilbo gets into a battle of wits with Gollum, a weird cave creature, or when Bilbo gets into another battle of wits with Smaug. The Hobbit would be an excellent book for people who love witty high fantasy stories.
