General Setting
The general setting of my book is a normal world just like ours, with neighborhoods and cities, with the main character living in a normal-sized town with local schools and stores all around. But in the mix of all this is a very judgmental and quick-to-assume society.
Pip's House/Bedroom
Pip lives in a normal 2-story home you would see in a neighborhood, with her Mom, Dad, and younger brother. This place matters because Pip does a lot of research here, hangs out with her family here, and someone unknown also breaks into her room.
Fairview Woods
The woods have some big open spaces along with a path to walk along and some benches. These woods are a big part of the story because they are where Sal Singh died, where Pip walked Barney (her dog), and where Barney died.
Fairview High School
Fairview High is a normal high school like all others, very big, with classes and lockers. This is the school that Pip has attends all through high school, and the school that gave her the capstone project. This is also the school where the real murderer works.
The Ward's Old House
A normal-looking home on the outside, but on the inside, sort of dingy and very empty. This is the house that Elliot Ward, the killer, is going to secretly 3-4 times a week to feed and visit a girl who, for 5+ years, thought was Andie Bell, the girl who got murdered.
