St. Louis County Library (slcl.org)

St. Louis County Library Virtual Card

All Parkway students have a virtual library card that gives them access to much of the SLCL digital content because of a partnership between the Parkway School District and the St. Louis County Public Libraries.

Your Virtual Library Card is:

  • Last Name = Last Name

  • Library Card Number = 095(your student number)

  • PIN Number = 1234 (this can be changed after login)

If you can't access the SLCL digital content with your virtual card, then ask the following questions:

Your St. Louis Public Library ecard is free if:

  • You live or pay property taxes within the City of St. Louis, St. Louis County, or St. Charles County

  • You work or attend school in the City of St. Louis.

Hoopla Digital is accessible with a valid library to either the St. Louis County Library or the St. Louis Public Library.

This company partners with public libraries to offer digital content such as ebooks, audiobooks, comics, music, movies, and TV shows. To access this content, you need a library card.

Audible Stories lets anyone, anywhere, listen for free. The stories were hand-picked by the Audible editors and offer a mix of education, entertainment, and general-interest titles, from the classic to the contemporary, with a focus on stories that are suitable for children.

Project Gutenberg was the first provider of free electronic books, or eBooks. Michael Hart, founder of Project Gutenberg, invented eBooks in 1971 and his memory continues to inspire the creation of eBooks and related technologies today. Most of the eBooks are older literary works that were published before 1924, with some published in the decades after.
