Make a copy of the 'About / Point Chart' above.
When you aren't reading with the teacher this week, you will be completing your group's reading contract. A copy is in your group's reading box along with the journal that you need.
Answer the questions on a Google doc. The questions are related to different stories in the journal so make sure you start by putting the story as a heading before putting down the question you are doing as well as the answer.
Complete the outer parts of the 'Satellites - Before and After Web' with information you have learned from the story.
Read at least 5 blog posts and comment on at least 1. Add to the 'Term 4 Blog Post' Google Sheet in your Reading folder.
Independently read 'One Small Step' School Journal Part 4, No. 3 2009 Pages 6-15
Use Google Drawings to create a timeline showing all the important dates from this story as well as the 'Space Race' story - include notes about what happened at each date.
Read the 'Frogs' Graphic text from above. Compare it with the School Journal Story we read yesterday. Write a blog post comparing the 2 versions of the story, stating which one you liked best and why.
Group reading: 'The Half Crown' (School Journal Part 4 No 3 2010). Complete the 'I Think... T chart'.
