Draw 3 halves. Look at your picture. Did you draw a whole and 1/2? If so, you are correct! 3/2 = 1 and 1/2
3/2 is called an improper fraction because the numerator (top) is larger than the denominator (bottom). 1 1/2 is called a mixed number because it has a whole number and a fraction (it is mixed).
