- SSR Book - Should be a chapter book at your independent reading level

For Language Arts and Reading you will need a "toolbox" to keep in Mrs. Tallarida's room at all times. We work a lot in an interactive notebook!
-pencils and a few pens (at least one red pen)
-highlighters (you will need blue, green, pink, orange, and yellow)
-a few glue sticks (we will use a lot this year)
-crayons and colored pencils
-a pair of small scissors
-small personal pencil sharpener
-a (non-spiral bound) composition book
-a few packs of lined index cards
