You must answer the following questions for your chosen topic:
Instruments:
1) What is the instrument?
2) What does it sound like?
3) What instrument family would it fall under today?
4) What does it look like?
5) Does this seem like a difficult instrument to play? Why or why not?
6) Include a picture in your typed response.
Composers:
1) Who is your composer? Short biography, a few sentences.
2) What were his or her contributions to medieval music? 3 sentences.
3) If your composer introduced something new to music, please explain what it is. If he or she invented a new style, explain the style. If he or she created a new way to write music, explain how the new method.
4) Why do YOU think this is an important, memorable composer in music history?
5) Include a picture in your typed response.
