The Grade 7 Camp will take place from Monday 25 January to Wednesday 27 January at Rocklands Centre - Simon's Town. The following information applies:
Campsite: Rocklands Centre - Simon's Town
Service Provider: Solid Ground - Rocklands Centre
Camp Leader: Mr Thuso Matamela
Departure from College Monday 25 January 2027:
Learners must be at the College at 07:30.
Departure from the College at 08:30
Arrival at Campsite: 10:00
Return from Campsite: Wednesday, 27 January 2027
Departure from the Campsite: 10:00.
Arrival back at the College: 12:00
Venue Information:
Cost: All camp and transport costs covered by the College. Learners need to bring money for snacks/stops on bus rides to and from Rocklands.

For our camps we require two indemnity/waiver forms, one from the service provider and one from the College. This is because each organisation has its own area of responsibility.
Service provider’s form: This covers the activities, equipment and staff supplied by the external camp operator (e.g. Bonamanzi). It protects them from liability for risks directly related to their services.
College’s form: This covers the College’s own responsibilities, such as transport, supervision, and decisions made by school staff. It protects the College and clarifies the parent/guardian’s consent for the learner to participate.
Having both forms ensures that all parties, the service provider, the College, and the participant understand and agree to the risks, responsibilities and emergency procedures involved.
Rocklands Centre Indemnity Form:
Please download a copy of the form, print it, complete it, and mail the signed copy to arossouw@parklands.co.za or alternatively hand the hard copy in at the secondary faculty reception no later than Wednesday 4 November 2026.
