Turn a website into an icon on the iPad
Keeping track of all of the resources and content when attending school online can be overwhelming. There are a couple of different methods you and your student can use to create quick access to the resources you return to often. One way is to use bookmarking. We’ve created videos to help others learn more about bookmarking websites. If your child uses an iPad, another way to manage those resources is to create icons for those websites on the iPad so that you can open them up directly from the home screen.

PDF’s should no longer open in Chrome or other web browsers, YEAH!! They will now open through Adobe. If students are having issues with opening PDF’s, they need to sign into their Adobe Creative Cloud. They can do this by looking up Creative Cloud in their Cortana or the search bar at the bottom of the screen/taskbar; click “Continue with Google” and select account, and it should auto-login. Creative Cloud window will say, “You don’t have access to manage apps” That is okay; it’s supposed to say that. After signing into Creative Cloud, PDFs should open correctly. If there are continued problems, contact the help desk.
