TIER I (Universal Interventions-- FOR ALL STUDENTS)
GRIT MATRIX
This is how we present and organize our behavior expectations to our students. It also incorporates our values.
POSITIVE PANTHER PROGRAM
This is how we encourage positive behavior for our students.
Immediate: PANTHER PASS
Students given pass by administrator to leave fourth block 3 minutes early-- only eligible for use that day
Frequent: PANTHER PRAISE
Use THIS FORM to write a positive referral recognizing a student for outstanding positive behavior in one of the areas of GRIT
Intermittent: PANTHER PERKS
Punch card given to students who attend South events to get food/other perks throughout the semester
MAJOR/MINOR CHART
Use this chart as a system of discouragement and to help you understand what you should handle in your classroom and what should be referred to the office for additional assistance with negative behavior.
