This piece of found poetry is make from a collection of quotes from the books Lord of The Flies by William Golding, Dreamland Burning by Jennifer Latham and The Hate U Give by Angie Thomas. This poem is meant to convey a sense of sibling like love between two people, specifically between the unnamed person we read from the perspective of and the girl, Maybelle.
