We are so excited to be working with such an amazing conductor and group of musicians for our 2024 performance. Be sure to click on the More About David Rutherford link below. We welcome you to join us for this wonderful community event!
Stewardship Series
We are in the midst of our Commitment Campaign for 2025, Releasing God's Blessings. This challenges us to rethink our understanding of blessings and what it means to be blessed. While it is true that God, by grace, freely gives us all that we have, we are not just passive recipients of God's blessings!
Just as God blesses us through people in our lives, so does God promise to bless others through us. When we live from a place of gratitude for God's gifts and trust in God's provision, we can be agents of God's blessings in our world.
Join us in worship these next two Sundays to consider our blessings and how we might bless others.
We will celebrate on November 24 Commitment Sunday.
Faith On Tap
Join us for Faith On Tap on Tuesday, November 19 from 6-7:30 p.m. at Fiction Beer Company.

All are welcome to come to Faith On Tap!
Invite your neighbors and friends and come join us for this wonderful night of community!

Ushers Needed
Are you looking for an easy way to serve on Sunday mornings? We are looking for ushers at our 9 a.m. service, and we need you! If you can hand out a bulletin, say good morning, walk down the aisle and pass out offering plates, and pick up after the service, then this is the job for you! We have options to volunteer once or twice a month.
For more information or to add your name to our usher list, email Cody.
Did You Know We Have an Endowment Fund?
Yes, Parker UMC has established an endowment fund that provides for future distributions that will benefit many parts of this church. Hospitality Matters!!
Church Hospitality extends beyond the walls of the physical building. In today’s digital age, it is essential to have a strong online presence that reflects the same level of warmth and inclusivity. This includes having a user-friendly website, active social media accounts, and prompt responses to inquiries or messages. By embracing technology and using technology to take worship outside our walls, we can reach a wider audience and engage with individuals who may not have otherwise discovered Parker United Methodist Church.
Consider: Might you consider being part of our church's social media team? If so, please let the church office know.
Faith Talk Questions
In preparation for Sunday worship, we will provide 3 questions to consider ahead of time. You can use these in your own devotion time, in conversation with family and friends, or in a small group setting. We hope this will help you engage with the scriptural texts and sermon at a deeper faith level.
For November 17 worship:
Sermon Title: Blessed People Bless Others
Scripture: 2 Corinthians 9:6-10
Guiding Questions:
Share a time when you had to carefully budget your resources because you were concerned that you might run out. How did you decide what you paid for and what you didn’t? What might have changed if you had an unlimited supply of each resource?
Think of the blessings that you have received from God in your life. These might be gifts of love, time, abilities, relationships, resilience, space, or material items such as belongings or financial resources. How are you sowing these seeds of grace? Are you sowing as if you will run out, or are you sowing as if God will continue to provide for every good work?
What would change in our community if people lived as if God would continually provide individuals with the resources they need and multiply the resources that were faithfully sharing with others?
This Sunday's Service
Please join us this Sunday as we continue our Stewardship sermon series: Releasing God's Blessings. This Sunday's message is Blessed People Bless Others. The scripture reading for this Sunday is 2 Corinthians 9:6-10.
