What are we doing right as a church, and where would you like to see some changes?
Church members and church friends (non-members) - we encourage you to have each of your family members fill out this survey. Including kids! The more feedback ... the better!

If you have any questions, please contact Kelly Evans.
Thank you for sharing your feedback with us.
As you move around in the community, we invite you to wear a church t-shirt. We have some that have "Love Outside the Box" on the back and some have "I Can Help" on the front. There are a variety of sizes and colors for each style.
Donations appreciated. Contact the church office if you are interested in getting one.
Are you or a family member on active military duty? If so, we wish to acknowledge your service members and pray for them. If desired, please add active service members from your family to our prayer list by answering the questions in this survey.
We would also like to recognize any veterans tied to our church community, so we are seeking that information as well.
If you have multiple individuals to list, please fill out and submit another form. Questions? Please reach out to Pastor Laura.
Thank you very much!
Parker UMC is again sponsoring a Vitalant drive at the church on Sunday, October 19 from 8:30 a.m. - noon. If you are able to help with a donation, you can make an appointment by logging in to donors.vitalant.org, click on the dot for “blood drive code” and enter 0894. From there you will be able to open the list of available times. Again, thank you for prayerfully considering another donation.
If you have any questions or need help signing up, please email me at davekronbach@gmail.com or text me at (630) 926-4996.
In preparation for Sunday worship, here are questions to consider ahead of time. You can use these in your own devotion time, in conversation with family and friends, or in a small group setting. All are welcome to join one discussion group every Wednesday at 10 a.m. in Room 216 in the church. You can also form your own discussion group.
Contact Doug McKinney if you are interested or have questions. We hope this practice will help you engage with the scriptural texts and sermon at a deeper faith level.
For October 12 worship:
Shaping Your Values
Scripture: Colossians 3:12-17
Guiding Questions:
The Apostle Paul uses the analogy of "putting on" particular values, as if they are clothes. How do "clothes make the person"? How do clothes help us make assumptions about others, whether right or wrong?
Paul lists what values of Christ we ought to wear: compassion, kindness, humility, meekness, patience, and love. What do these values have in common? How are they different?
Which of these values is more difficult for you to "put on"? Identify an example of how you have tried to wear it.
Within this list of wearable values, Paul talks about forgiveness. How might these values help you forgive?
If you were to openly let these Christ-like values guide who you are and how you act in the world, how might the rest of the world respond? How does being part of a worshipping community help?
Please join us Sunday as we continue our sermon series, Counterculture. This Sunday's message is Shaping Your Values and our scripture reading is Colossians 3:12-17.
9 a.m. Sunday: Blended service with traditional elements and a variety of music including hymns, handbells and choir.
10:30 a.m. Spark! Worship: This service includes contemporary praise music, and an informal style that offers a play area for children, opportunities for you to be involved in service, and the freedom to practice prayer and worship in exciting and personalized ways.
5:30 p.m. 2nd Wednesday of each month: At The Table. We gather around a meal, share conversation and stories of faith, and complete a small mission project.
All requests to add an item to the Midweek should be emailed to Pastor Laura by 6 p.m. on Monday evening.
