Kids will step through the mist into Rainforest Falls, overflowing with wild waterfalls, towering trees, and colorful creatures. Beneath a canopy of chattering birds and howling monkeys, kids plunge into a lifelong adventure of discovering the nature of God. They’ll explore what it means to be rooted in relationship with God, their creator, a safe place in life’s storms. We are now taking registrations for participants and volunteers. Click here to register or email Noelle for more information.

Scholarship Endoment
Over the past 11 years, we have given out 68 scholarships to our graduating seniors, scholarships totalling $46,000. This is made possible because others, in our church's past, have given to the Scholarship Endowment. Help us continue supporting our youth by considering a gift today to our Scholarship Endowment Fund.
Youth Solo or Small Group Performance
Do you have a youth who loves music? Singing or playing an instrument? We are seeking any that are interested in youth solo, duet, or small group to perform over the summer. This is geared for those who love to shine and perform, honoring God by sharing music. Please reach out to Tia for details.

If you are interested in ordering flowers, please fill out the Sign Up Genius for 2026 here. You can also email or speak with Candi in the church office. Cost is $50 per arrangement.
Please speak with Candi Robinson if you have any questions.
Thanks for beautifying our altar table!
In preparation for Sunday worship, here are questions to consider ahead of time. You can use these in your own devotion time, in conversation with family and friends, or in a small group setting. All are welcome to join one discussion group every Wednesday at 10 a.m. in Room 216 in the church.
We hope this practice will help you engage with the scriptural texts and sermon at a deeper faith level.
For May 17 Sunday worship:
This week's sermon: Be Transformational
Scripture: Romans 12:1-2
Guiding Questions:
Read Romans 12:1 in the NRSV or NRSVUE translation first. What does it mean to be a living sacrifice? Now read the passage in The Message translation. What is different? How does The Message translation provide a different insight into offering ourselves to God?
What do you think of when you hear the word, transformation? What can be transformed? How does transformation ultimately change something or someone?
Read Romans 12:2 in the NRSV or NRSVUE translation first. What kind of transformation is Paul getting at here? How does The Message translation expand or better explain what is being transformed?
It's easier to begin by considering how we might be transformed. What does it mean to be transformational? What do you think needs to be transformed -- in your life, in your community, in our world?
Finally, where do you believe God is at work in all of this work and talk about transformation? What does God want from us? And how might God help us with this?
Please join us this Sunday as we continue our sermon series To Be or Not To Be the Church. This Sunday's message is "Be Transformational" and our scripture reading is Romans 12:1-2.
