Youth/Family Dinner
Join us for our next Youth/Family Dinner this Sunday, February 1 from 5-6:30 p.m. All youth and their families are invited to join us for dinner! This is a great space for teens and parents of teens to get together, share a meal, and have conversations around meaningful and relative topics as you navigate these teen years. All are welcome!
Topic: How to help our youth live in an anxious world. We will be talking about anxiety and how to help support your child through these anxious years.
RSVP and Sign Up to Provide Food by clicking here.
Souper Bowl Sunday
Sadly, the Denver Broncos are not in the Super Bowl. However, we will still celebrate by supporting two of our missions.
First, please bring non-perishable food items to the narthex on Sunday, February 8. These will be delivered to Parker Task force to help supply their food bank.
Second, we will also pass around soup pots during the children's message for monetary donations. These donations will support our Feed My Starving Children (FMSC) fund. Funds collected will help cover packing fees for groups, like our youth group, Scouts, and sporting teams. Often groups want to volunteer by helping pack, but don't have the $50 per person packing fee.
Mark your calendars for the FMSC MobilePack on October 2-3, 2026.
Thank you so much!

In preparation for Sunday worship, here are questions to consider ahead of time. You can use these in your own devotion time, in conversation with family and friends, or in a small group setting. All are welcome to join one discussion group every Wednesday at 10 a.m. in Room 216 in the church.
We hope this practice will help you engage with the scriptural texts and sermon at a deeper faith level.
For February 1 worship:
This week's sermon: The Spirit's Whisper
Scripture: 1 Kings 19:9-13, Galatians 5:22-25
Guiding Questions:
1 Kings 19 is the familiar story of Elijah's escape from danger and time in the wilderness. Read the full chapter. How do you view Elijah -- strong? weak? faithful? full of doubts? This helps us consider how we might feel in a similar situation.
1 Kings 19:11-13 is where Elijah expects to find God but then hears God's voice in the sheer silence. Do you expect God to be in loud, dramatic experiences? What does it mean that God might appear in the silences of your life?
Galatians 5:22-25 is the familiar list of the Fruit of the Spirit. How does these qualities connect with the Holy Spirit? What questions do you have about Paul's definition of the Fruit of the Spirit?
How might the Fruit of the Spirit be a way of God speaking to us? You may have to consider the trinitarian understanding that God is Father, Son and Holy Spirit as you ponder this question.
If you could ask the pastors a question about this topic, what would it be?
Please join us this Sunday as we continue our sermon series, How to Hear God. This Sunday's message is God's Steady Voice and our scripture readings are 2 Timothy 3:14-17 and Psalm 119:105.
9 a.m. Sunday: Blended service with traditional elements and a variety of music including hymns, handbells and choir.
10:30 a.m. Spark! Worship: This service includes contemporary praise music, and an informal style that offers a play area for children, opportunities for you to be involved in service, and the freedom to practice prayer and worship in exciting and personalized ways.
5:30 p.m. 2nd Wednesday of each month: At The Table. We gather around a meal, share conversation and stories of faith, and complete a small mission project.
All requests to add an item to the Midweek should be emailed to Pastor Laura by 6 p.m. on Monday evening.
