PCSD 6 Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) Report Card
ESSA REPORT CARDS
The Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) is the federal law adopted in December 2015 that governs all K-12 public schools. The act says all districts and schools must provide transparent information to the public. The Wyoming Department of Education provides a framework so that all school and district report cards meet ESSA requirements.
The Park County School District No. 6 ESSA report card provides detailed information about Park 6 as well as about each of its schools. Within those reports is information on enrollment, student performance, school finance, graduation rates, and a variety of other data. The numerous embedded links located on various web pages allow the user to drill deeper into the data.
Park 6 ESSA report card results demonstrate that Park 6 has much to celebrate; however, it also shows areas that need improvement. With a collaborative effort spanning from the boardroom to the classroom and in partnership with students, parents, and community, the Cody school district will continue its tradition as a great place for our students to learn and grow.
On behalf of all Park 6 staff, I wish to thank parents and others in the community for the opportunity to educate future generations. With community support, collaborative efforts and a positive outlook, we can help our students reach their potential in all areas in life.
