Welcome Message

Welcome to another school year, Mariners!
This week we will finally find ourselves physically in our beloved campus. I am sure you are as excited as I am to see old, familiar faces, as well as meet new ones. While the teachers have done their best to hold their classes online, nothing beats being in a real classroom and sitting in real school desks.
Every new school year is also an opportunity to renew ourselves and to become better persons: to study a bit harder, to be a bit more friendly, and to be a bit more pious. We will find many things that we can offer up to our Lord, who is also excited for us this new school year.
To be back in our campus means to be face to face with our Lord again. He is there waiting for you to receive Him in the Holy Mass. He is there waiting for you to greet him in the tabernacle, where you will ask for help, thank Him, and pray for the people around you. He is also there, waiting for you in the confessional, so that you could ask for His forgiveness and where He could absolve you from your sins.
I also ask at the start of this school year that you pray a lot for this school: for the teachers, the staff, the parents, and for all the students. And pray for me as well, so that I may be a holy, cheerful, and hardworking chaplain for the school.
May God bless you and your families!
Your chaplain,
REV. FR. JOSE PAULO LUISTRO
