Natural fibers like Organic cotton
grown in certified farms.
Organic cotton is then spinned, weaved, warped and dyed
on historical looms in Japan,
country with high environmental requisites and
in Italy by certified firms, GOTS, OEKO-TEX, SA8100,
and that signed Greenpeace Fashion Detox Commitment.
Cut and sewn in Bergamo area by Italian craftsmen
with 3 family-generation of denim production experience.
To improve sustainability of products, we like develop and test new sustainable denim fabrics with more sustainable fibers like linen and hemp that need less energy for grow and recycled cottons that need less energy for transformation, in cooperation with our Italian and Japanese partner mills.
Eco-Washes and treatments are done by innovative Italian laundries with ice, natural resins and with Eco-aging, a natural and 100% biodegradable treatment that permit to substitute dangerous "sandblasting" with a vegetable and eco-sustainable compost.
Selvage denim fabrics are milled on historical Japanese looms. Sold raw, unwashed, as the best tradition of the indigo fade-out, wear time to time before wash it.
Branded buttons and rivets are nickel free
done in "historical buttons district" in Bergamo.
