Linkit! Parent Portal Information
We are extremely excited to launch the LinkIt! Parent Portal. Through this portal, you can now access your child's state and local standardized test scores digitally. Within the LinkIt! Parent Portal, you should now be able to view the current year benchmark assessment data as well as any historic data state testing data that is housed in the system.
Please note: The new Linkit Parent Portal is meant to complement our existing Genesis Parent Portal; it does not replace it.
Please keep in mind that it is critical to remember the purpose of each assessment type and what it is measuring at the time it is being administered when reviewing your child's data. For example, the Linkit Benchmark Assessments are given at least twice a year in Mathematics and English Language Arts. These Benchmark assessments are designed to measure students' progress towards current grade level standards, some of which students have NOT yet been exposed to in the course of their curriculum units. For this reason, please do not panic if you see many standards in “the red” or “below expectations” level for assessments given earlier in the school year as this is quite normal. Information from these assessments is used by classroom teachers to help gather information about students' prior knowledge as well as to help them make important instructional decisions. You will see a more realistic perspective about where your child's progress is as it relates to grade level standards by looking at all of their assessments scores across the school year.
In addition, many assessments are broken down into standards and skills, and those are used by teachers to identify student strengths and opportunities for growth. Often, these subscores are more valuable than the overall score as they can be used to support small group instruction and more precise progress monitoring.
If you have questions about your child’s assessment data, the best place to start is with the classroom teacher(s) who are by far the most knowledgeable about your child’s academic abilities. If you have questions about the benchmark assessments themselves, please contact the individual department Supervisors.

CLICK ON "HAVE A REGISTRATION CODE?" TAB
ENTER YOUR UNIQUE REGISTRATION CODE
SET UP YOUR INDIVIDUAL ACCOUNT BY FOLLOWING THE ON-SCREEN PROMPTS

Please complete this Google Form if you did not receive the initial account setup email or if you are on record as a parent/guardian in Genesis and need to have a new parent portal account created.
To View Reports on the Parent Portal:
2. Click on your child's name on the side to view available assessments. View detailed results by clicking on the down arrow to the right of each assessment name.
