  • Development of protocols for all potential instructional models throughout the course of the school year (in-person, remote, hybrid)

  • Procedures for recording and monitoring student attendance across the various instructional models

  • Development of policies for attendance and instructional contact that will accommodate opportunities for both synchronous and asynchronous instruction

  • Consider the need to balance reducing student screen time with facilitating meaningful interactions between teachers, students, and peers

  • Development of plans/protocols for the possibility of a return to all virtual instruction should the need arise

  • Ensuring continuity of learning for special populations as well as the health and safety of students and staff within the least restrictive learning environment

  • Utilization of instructional/learning hours
