The Bergen County Special Services CAPE Resource Center serves as a central point of access to services, resources, and educational opportunities for individuals with disabilities and their families, as well as the professionals who support them. Our mission is to serve people with disabilities throughout their lifespan while connecting them to appropriate resources. For example, we provide assistance with applications to the NJ Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD) , the NJ Children's System of Care (CSOC) and provide educational workshops and webinars on a variety of disability related topics. We also have two parent support groups which meet once a month. Our services are provided at no cost. Please contact us for more information.

Services provided by NJ WINS includes intensive benefits counseling, educating beneficiaries on Work Incentive benefits offered by the Social Security Administration, educating beneficiaries and their Representative Payees on topics such as wage reporting, Medicaid Buy In Programs, information about Employment Networks, DVRS, Career Centers, and continuing disability reviews.

Name of Organization: Advancing Opportunities--Assistive Technology Services
We help people with disabilities, their families, teachers, and employers identify and learn to use the technology that will be most effective in meeting their goals. This may be finding out how they can use technology to help read their college assignments, write and spell with increased accuracy, take notes, access the computer, communicate with others, keep organized, manage their time, and improve the accessibility of their home or workplace.
Services Provided: We provide assistive technology, home/workplace accessibility, and augmentative communication evaluations and trainings for people with disabilities to assist them with being more independent and efficient at the things they need to do at home, at school, and at work!
