Paragon International University Model United Nations is an educational or academic simulation of the United Nations where students play the role of delegates from different countries and attempt to solve real-world issues with the policies and perspectives of their assigned country allowing students the opportunity to learn about diplomacy, international relations, and the United Nations.

Paragon International University Model United Nations club is organized by the Executive Council which will be re-elected every year. 

The Paragon International University Model United Nations Club was founded in 2014 under the name of Zaman University Model United Nations Club. From the beginning, its goal has been to promote an interest in and an understanding of the inner workings of the United Nations and all of its organs through academic research and direct participation under the presidency of Ms. Charadine Pich who is currently a Deputy Director at CICP. The support and success of the club have inspired the members to continue their hard work and passion and recruit more members and hold bigger simulations. Currently, our club has 85 members, including executive council members coming from various departments of Paragon International University, and other universities in Phnom Penh. Paragon International University Model United Nations Club has been providing a platform where students can experience how the United Nations really works by allowing students the opportunity to discuss problems related to international affairs. Our club’s main goal has always been to help members improve their useful soft skills (e.g. research, public speaking, debate, self-confidence, team building, social issue analysis, etc). We also seek to create an environment where members can expand their global knowledge, which will enhance their contemporary academic journey as well as their future career.
