Inbound Applicants:
Inbound applicants should, with the assistance of the international exchange office at their home institution, advise the Office of International Cooperation (OIC) at Paragon.U in writing of their intention to apply for a place as an exchange student, and receive advice from the OIC on the application process.
After consultation with the OIC, inbound applicants should apply for admission to Paragon International University using the Paragon.U online enrolment system, with a copy or advice sent to the OIC.
International Inbound Applicants from non-English speaking countries should have an IELTS equivalent average score of at least 6.0 with no one IELTS category below 5.5 IELTS.
1. Eligibility requirements
An inbound exchange student applicant must fulfill the following requirements:
a. Be enrolled in a full-time undergraduate degree program at a partner university
b. Have completed at least 1 year of undergraduate study
c. Have a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 2.7 or better on a 4.0 scale or equivalent
d. Non-native English speakers must have a minimum score of at least TOEFL iBT 72 or IELTS 6.0.
2. Admission process
A student who wishes to be placed as an inbound exchange student should follow these steps:
Step 1: Consult with the OIC at Paragon.U to complete an Inbound Exchange application form.
Step 2: Consult with the relevant Head of Department or Dean of Faculty at their home university for advice and guidance about the study program, and to obtain approval for the proposed course of study.
Step 3: Advise OIC at Paragon.U of intention to enrol and the courses intended to be enrolled for study.
Step 4: Apply for entry to Paragon using the universities online enrolment system
Step 5: Receive acceptance letter or invitation letter from Paragon.U
Step 6: Apply for an E-class (ordinary) visa online https://www.evisa.gov.kh/ to enter Cambodia
NB. ASEAN Students please note that an ASEAN tourist visa on arrival is not suitable for those intending to study in Cambodia
3. The following documents are normally required for Paragon.U to approve an application
Nomination letter from a partner university
Course list for the semester applied at Paragon.U
Completed Exchange Approval Form
Proof of registration or enrolment at the partner university
An official transcript of academic record
TOEFL or IELTS score record (non-native English speakers only)
One photocopy of the applicant’s passport biodata page
4. Student expenses
Tuition fee at Home University: Students should follow the instructions of their home university in regards to the payment of any fees to that institution during the period of exchange study.
Tuition fee at Paragon International University: Based on the relevant agreement conditions with partner universities, students will normally be required to pay the full semester tuition fees for study at Paragon.U, unless there is an agreement in place with the partner university to offer a partial or full tuition scholarship to inbound exchange students.
Living Expenses: Student must pay for all visa fees, flight tickets, medical insurance, living expenses, dormitory fees, and other personal expenses.
