On 3rd August of 2023, ParagonIU Chess Club hosted a tournament called "ParagonIU Chess Semesterly Tournament", which was open to all Paragon students, staff, and alumni. The tournament had 2 stages: 

• Group Stage (3rd and 4th of August)

• Play off (11th of August)

Our 10 participants took turn competing against one another in their own group for 2 games per opponent, one game as white and another as black.

Top 2 players of Group A and Group B make their way to play off to play in best of 3 to determine who will reign supreme in our semesterly tournament.

To award our participants for their commitment and abilites, we provided them with awards:

• Champion : A brand new chessboard, Certificate and Medal

• First Runner up: Certificate and Medal

• Second Runner up: Certificate and Medal
