Te Manu Huruhuru o Te Kura o Paparore is our Student Graduate Profile. As you progress through our school you will learn each 'feather' of the kuaka's cloak.

Kia ora whanau, I am currently planning our class camp to Waiari, in Whatuwhiwhi from Wednesday the 4th to Friday the 6th of November. Below is a copy of the equipment list you need to have when we go on camp, so start collecting your equipment now:

Te Puawai Camp Checklist:

MAKE SURE EVERYTHING IS NAMED!!

  • Unbreakable [eg plastic] Cup/plate/dessert plate!!!

  • Knife/fork/spoon!!!

  • Water bottle [include with Mon or Wed lunch—need it for the tramp!!!]

  • T-towel [for doing your own dishes!]

  • Torch (optional)

  • Fishing gear (optional)

  • Toothbrush/toothpaste/comb or brush

  • 2 towels/flannel

  • Pegs

  • Insect repellent [mozzies are notorious]

  • Sunscreen

  • Sunhat

  • P.J’s

  • Sleeping Bag or blanket

  • Pillow

  • Togs

  • Clothing needs for Mon-Wed/Wed-Friday

  • Warm jersey or jacket/raincoat

  • Shoes suitable for tramping—NOT JANDALS!!

  • Game (cards, chess, etc.) (optional)

  • Camera (optional)

  • Book (not an option!! Bring one—a novel) & a pen [for diaries]

  • Medication
