Paparoa Ranger Challenge

At Paparoa Range School students from Year 5 up can choose to take on and complete the Paparoa Ranger Challenge.

The Ranger Challenge is made up of 3 different levels of challenge starting at Bronze and moving up to Silver then finally Gold is the highest level, with the most challenge.

The challenges are organised using our four School Values:

• Honesty
• Respect
• Perseverence
• Creativity

On completion of the Challenge, the successful students are awarded the Paparoa Ranger Badge and the corresponding Bar for their challenge level. This happens at a Special Assembly where family and friends are invited to attend by the Principal. Students will then head off for lunch with the Principal and their family and friends who have come along.

The Ranger Challenges are a Home based learning undertaking (however after discussing with your teacher you may get class time to practice tasks or write up/record what you've been doing).
