Futures Academy is a trades academy that offers secondary students hands-on, Tertiary trades training linked to the Bay of Plenty region's growth.

• Students will attend courses at one of five tertiary providers 

• Students attend each week during the school term for either one or two days. 

• NCEA and National certificates are achieved. 

• Students develop pre-trade skills and experience that can lead to local employment or further tertiary training. 

• There is no cost to the student. 

• Transport provided
