Our mission is to develop a sustainable model that prepares educators to deliver high-quality, integrated STEM learning opportunities to students. Through extensive professional development and research-based practices, we ensure that our educators are equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills.
Why is STEM education certification so crucial? The answer lies in the transformative impact it has on our students. By engaging in STEM education, our students are prepared for emerging STEM careers and educational opportunities. They develop critical thinking, problem-solving, and collaboration skills, essential for success in the modern world.
But we don't work in isolation. Paoli Junior- Senior High School collaborates with community partners, faculty, and students to implement Indiana's Priorities for STEM Education. Together, we strive to provide access to high-quality, integrated STEM instruction, increasing student participation and achievement in this important field.

Connecting To Indiana STEM Priorities
Paoli Junior- Senior High School is seeking to create a sustainable model of STEM education by preparing of staff with high quality professional development, creating opportunities to students that provide valuable hands-on experience, and leveraging community partnerships that create benefits for all parties involved. Narrative on how these two things come together. Our Create 2 Think curriculum uses the 5-e model and uses researched-based practices that allows students to become thinkers, creators, advocates, and entrepreneurs in an education experience. We are using community partners to provide direction and feedback of our program, create manufacturing field trips and STEM guest speakers, and interact with our students during our STEM family nights that give students an chance to see STEM in different career pathways. Our STEM education pathway is intentionally inclusive of all students in our junior high population.
Mission Statement
Paoli Junior-Senior High School’s priorities for STEM Education seek to develop a sustainable model for preparing educators to provide high-quality, integrated STEM learning opportunities to students, as well as support and provide resources to educators during implementation. This will be achieved through a collaborative process of professional development promoting research-based practices. These priorities will ultimately result in providing students with an engaging, integrated STEM education experience that prepares them for emerging STEM careers and educational opportunities.
Vision Statement
The Paoli Junior-Senior High School will collaborate with community partners, faculty, and students to implement Indiana’s Priorities for STEM Education in an effort to provide access to high-quality, integrated STEM instruction and to increase student participation and achievement related to integrated STEM learning opportunities. In a constantly evolving world, STEM education will prepare all students to contribute to society through innovative problem-solving as the next generation of thinkers, creators, advocates, and entrepreneurs.
