Hotel Pohjanranta is located in the Lappland area in a peaceful and beautiful place by the river Kemijoki. Hotel is about a 10 min taxi ride from Kemi airport and a 15 min taxi ride from Kemi railway station. Usually in February the temperature might easily be below -20 Celscius and sometimes in the winter it is possible to see the Aurora Borealis.
The orchestra is a 14-member ensemble that unites professional musicians from the region.
