Discussion strategies:

• Circle chat - one group stands in a circle facing outward, the other group is in a circle facing in. They pair up and answer a question, then one group moves (one person over, two people over, etc.) to discuss a new question with a new partner.
• Chat stations - post statements, quotations, ideas, etc on cards or papers around the room. Small groups of students move to the different stations and discuss what is posted. Then the entire class can discuss.
