Pamlico County Schools is accepting initial offers for the purchase of a portion of the former Pamlico County Middle School property through the negotiated offer and upset bid process. Prospective purchasers should review the complete Offering Memorandum and supporting documents before submitting an offer. 

Important Dates & Submission Information 

Initial Offer Period: August 26–September 24, 2026
Initial Offer Deadline: Thursday, September 24, 2026 at 12:00 p.m.
Minimum Acceptable Initial Offer: $100,000

Initial offers must be submitted in a sealed envelope and may be mailed or hand-delivered. Offers must be received by the Office of the Superintendent no later than the stated deadline. A deposit equal to 5% of the Initial Offer is required in the form of a cashier’s check to be held by the Finance Officer of Pamlico County Schools

Property at a Glance

The property being offered consists of a portion of the former Pamlico County Middle School campus and generally includes the former school buildings, gymnasium, parking areas, sidewalks, and associated site improvements. The property is being offered AS IS, WHERE IS. 

Interested in Submitting an Offer?

The Pamlico County Board of Education invites interested individuals, businesses, organizations, and other prospective purchasers to submit an initial offer for the former Pamlico County Middle School property.

Prospective purchasers should review the Offering Memorandum in its entirety before submitting an offer. The memorandum contains important information regarding the property, its condition, the negotiated offer and upset bid process, submission requirements, and the terms and conditions of the offering.

The minimum acceptable initial offer is $100,000. Initial offers must be submitted using the Initial Offer Form and accompanied by the required documentation and a 5% deposit in the form of a cashier’s check. Offers must be received by the Pamlico County Schools Office of the Superintendent no later than 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 24, 2026.
