Play and Language Support Preschool
At PALS Preschool, we aim to create an educational environment where autistic children feel safe, secure, included and respected and where each child's strengths and contributions are valued and celebrated. We are committed to using evidence-informed practices to support our pupils to reach their potential.
PALS Preschool opened in September 2008 and we have recently moved to our new purpose built centre in Hampton Wood, Finglas. Our sessions run Monday to Friday from September to July (inclusive) and we provide morning and afternoon sessions.
We enroll children aged 3 - 5 years and you can add your child's name to our waiting by emailing us at firstname.lastname@example.org or by phoning 085 842 5660.

That our individual education programmes give the structure and support that enable positive learning outcomes for our pupils.
That all children have the right to aspire to the highest standards attainable and that their achievements should be supported, recognised and praised.
That parents have the greatest knowledge of their children and can make a major contribution to the success of their child’s school experience.
That children should be enabled to live as independently as possible. That they should be encouraged to make decisions and communicate independently.
PALS encourages a child centered, multidisciplinary environment, and works closely with each family at every step of the child’s education. We welcome input from other professionals ensuring consistency and a comprehensive service to the child and their family. PALS currently engage a consultant Speech and Language Therapist (SLT), Olive Gormley who has been trained in PROMPT, Lamh and Hanen Certified. Olive is proficient in administering a range of standardised speech and language assessments.
A Special Visitor
Anne Rabbitte, TD
We recently had a visit from the Irish Minister of State for Disabilities - Anne Rabbitte, TD who gave an overwhelmingly positive review of our services. Watch her discussion on Autism Policy where she states that "without the likes of PALS, we wouldn't be supporting children with autism in the earlier years" (Facebook, Twitter Broadcast). We extend our sincere gratitude for her outstanding support of Autistic children and their families!
