In order to retain membership, members must maintain the requirements listed in the chapter bylaws including attending monthly chapter meetings, completing 20 hours of community service, and maintaining grades.

- Members must maintain a cumulative average if 85 or above in all courses. Average will not be rounded up.

- Members must participate in chapter service project.

- Student leaders are those who are resourceful; good problem solvers, and idea contributors.

What happens if a member does not maintain the requirements of membership?
Members will be notified in writing if they are not fulfilling the requirements of the chapter. They will be given the opportunity to address any issues.
Violations of the law or school regulations can result in immediate dismissal from the chapter.
The faculty council will meet to discuss any members facing dismissal. Members may present their case in person or in writing. A majority vote of the faculty council is needed to dismiss any member.

How do I find out about meetings and community service opportunities?
Check Google Classroom (from the application process) or check the board near Ms. Van Zandt's room (212).
