Anthony Ronco joined the Florida Palms Athletics team in the Spring of 2022.
Ronco joined the Owls out of Miami Carol City Senior High where he served as the head coach from May 2018 through January 2022. Under his leadership, the program was revived, increasing their yearly win total by 1000% on average compared to the previous eight years. In 2021, his offense finished in the top five of Miami Dade schools for slugging percentage. During his tenure, four players went on to play college baseball, five earned all district honors, and one was selected to represent Miami Dade in the All Star Game after leading the city in OBP.
Prior to coaching the Carol City Chiefs, Ronco served as the pitching coach of Daniel High School in Central, South Carolina.
Ronco also has an extensive background in leadership development. From 2012-2018, he served with Campus Outreach, directing the Leadership Project and serving as the Campus Director of Southern Wesleyan University.
As a player, Ronco pitched professionally for one season in Germany for the Neuenburg Atomics. He also pitched in college for the Southern Wesleyan University Warriors in Central, South Carolina from 2010-2012 where he graduated with a degree in Sports Management.
Ronco resides in Miami, Florida with his wife, Rachel, daughter, Camila (3), and son, Phoenix (1).
