The WBBBC helps with the level of inclusion for a population that often feels isolated and excluded. We regularly hold virtual parties and events, and in the past we have taken part in Field Day activities, holiday parties, The Buddies Walk (every spring), and The Buddies Prom (every May). Through their participation, people with IDD form meaningful connections with their peers, gain self-confidence and self-esteem, and share common interests and experiences as well as participation in super-fun activities. WBBBC offers students an opportunity to have a more meaningful high school experience and make a sincere difference in the lives of others.
