Sofonie jeudy

SGA Vice-President

STATE YOUR QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE OFFICE YOU ARE RUNNING FOR.

I am determined that this year will go great. I have certain things in plan already. This would be my 1st year in SGA but I believe i am worthy of being our vice-president.

HOW CAN YOU MAKE BBCHS A BETTER SCHOOL?

We need to have more school spirit. Boynton is not a bad school despite what others think. We are a great school we lack the spirit and that’s what we need. we also need unity.

IF ELECTED, WHAT ARE SOME OF YOUR GOALS?

My goals are to make my last year and the Seniors last year something unforgettable. I have a petition started about dress code and how sexist it is and it’s a goal of mine to actually make a change. There’s also more to come if i’m elected vice president.

Rodney Ellis

SGA Vice-President

STATE YOUR QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE OFFICE YOU ARE RUNNING FOR.

3.8 GPA, 3 medical certifications, President of Key Club, member of NHS, co-founder and co-president of a self started community service club in Miami.

HOW CAN YOU MAKE BBCHS A BETTER SCHOOL?

I plan to take student input further into consideration, as I personally believe many of the decisions made are mostly based on the wants of school officials, instead of the actual student body.

IF ELECTED, WHAT ARE SOME OF YOUR GOALS?

My biggest goal is to help spread out some of the funding the football team receives and distribute it to other venues in school: arts, medical, basa, etc. Additionally, I hope to be able to plan a school trip for the seniors to another state (either California or New York) at the end of the year.
