The Regeneron Science Talent Search (Regeneron STS) application is now open. That means your students can open an application right now for the chance to submit their original science research to the nation’s oldest, most prestigious science research competition - and the chance to win up to $250,000.
The first webinar of the season is July 15th at 1pm ET, and you’re invited! Sign up here to join me (and some special guests) for a crash course on all things STS: the history, the requirements, and all our very favorite tips and tricks to help your students’ applications shine.
Here’s a sneak peek at some of the things we’ll cover:
Who’s eligible? High school seniors with individual, original research projects conducted in any year of high school can apply. Take a look at our official competition rule if you’re not sure - full eligibility guidelines are on page six.
How do my students apply? Students will complete the online application, which includes personal essays, letters of recommendation, an original research report and more.
What could my students win? The top 300 scholars receive $2,000 for both themselves AND their schools! Forty finalists will receive at least $25,000, with the chance to compete in the finals week competition for up to $250,000.
When’s the deadline? Applications must be submitted by November 10th, 2021 at 8pm ET.
Why should my students enter? So many reasons! Here’s one, and another, and some more! And as STS 2021 Finalist James Licato told us, “The sense of accomplishment that you will feel, just by applying, is really unrivaled. To be able to enter your work into a competition that could provide so many memories and connections is an opportunity like no other.”
Can’t make the webinar? No worries - sign up and I’ll make sure to email you a link to the recording (and keep you updated on all the other exciting stuff we’ve got planned for later this cycle… stay tuned!).
As always, drop us a line at sts@societyforscience.org with any questions for our team. We can’t wait to hear from you.
