Elisa Beardsley-Dodd graduated from Florida Atlantic University with a B.S. in Hospitality Management in 2013. She gained most of her experience in restaurant management while working for Seasons 52 & Del Frisco's Grille. She has grown up in Boca Raton since 2000 & even attended Olympic Heights HS.

Few highlights:

  • Corporate hostess trainer for 3 new restaurant openings (Houston, Burlington, & Irvine)

  • Worked in DC for 3 months supporting the management team for a high volume restaurant

  • Lived in The Woodlands, TX & was one of the managers of a $5.5 million restaurant.

Her daughters name is Emma & she is 5 years old!

Currently, she is the Hospitality & Tourism Academy teacher for Olympic Heights high school. She is the club advisor for our career & technical organization, DECA. She hopes to bring some of her passion in hospitality into the classroom with project based learning & hands on activities in the cafe. Some of her favorite experiences with the students have been outside the classroom either going to a DECA competition/leadership summit, field trips to different local hotels/restaurants/country clubs, & recreation businesses such as the American Airlines arena in Miami/Disney!
