JHS Fall Sports/Tryout-Practice Information
JHS B/G Bowling 2026:
Boys and Girls bowling tryouts for the 2026 bowling season will be held on August 12 and August 19, 2026 at Lucky Strike Jupiter. Prospective bowlers should plan on being present for both days of tryouts. The coaching staff will share more details at tryouts.
You need to complete ALL REQUIRED ATHLETIC PAPERWORK before participation. It is available on AKTIVATE.com and must be submitted and approved before any activity. Once your paperwork is submitted and approved it is good for one calendar year and should cover you if you elect to participate in any other JHS sports for the 26-27 school year. All athletic paperwork must be submitted and approved by 1 pm on Tuesday, August 13, 2026. No athletic paperwork will be accepted after this deadline for tryout and participation purposes for the 2026 season.
All bowlers are responsible for their own transportation to the bowling alley for both practices and matches.

All interested boys and girls bowlers are encouraged to speak with either Coach Blasky (boys coach/Room 6-214) or Coach Edwards (girls coach/Room 7-211) at their earliest convenience on Monday, August 10, 2026 (first day of school).

2026 Football Tryouts
Varsity football practice will commence on July 27, 2026. Practices the first week will be exclusively in the morning form 8:30-11:30 am.

2026 Jupiter High School Boys Golf Team Tryouts
JHS boys golf tryouts and practices will be held at Jonathan’s Landing at Old Trail (18505 SE Clubhouse Drive, Jupiter, FL, 33478)
Tryout Dates
· Day 1: Tuesday, July 28, 2026, at 2 pm
· Day 2: Wednesday, July 29, 2026, at 2 pm
· Day 3 (Final Round): Tuesday, August 4, 2026, at 2 pm
Format Overview
The tryout will consist of stroke play competition over the first two days. Each player’s cumulative score across these rounds will determine who advances.
Cut After Day 2
· At the conclusion of play on July 29, a cut will be made
· The top 20 players, including ties, will advance to the final round on August 4.
· All other participants will be released from tryouts at that time.
Final Round – Day 3
Players who advance will compete in a final round of stroke play on August 4. Scores from all three days will be considered as part of the overall evaluation process.
2026 Team Selection
At the conclusion of the final round:
· The top 7 players based on total scores will automatically earn a spot on the team.
· Coaches will then have the discretion to select up to 3 additional players as coach’s picks, based on factors such as:
o Attitude and sportsmanship
o Work ethic and coachability
o Team fit and potential for development
o This brings the total team roster to up to 10 players.

Tryouts will beat Admirals Cove-Village Course (149 Golf Village Blvd., Jupiter, FL) in which they will play a 9-hole round each day. Prospective student-athletes should plan to attend all 4 days and will need to arrange transportation to and from Admirals Cove. Prospective student-athletes trying out for the Jupiter golf team should have a handicap of 12 or less. JHS fields a very competitive golf team.
All athletic paperwork for prospective golfers must be submitted by July 26, 2026 at 1 pm. All paperwork must be submitted via AKTIVATE.

JHS Swim workouts will commence on Tuesday, August 11, 2026 at the North County Aquatic Center. Workouts will be from 3:00-4:30 pm on August 11-14 and 17-20, 2026.
A timed tryout will be held on Friday, August 21, 2026 for team placement.
