Test Taking Strategy 101 - Juniors:

You will take a free SAT in MARCH of your junior year.  Review the testing calendar below and consider taking the ACT in February OR April.  Both tests are administered on designated Saturdays at participating local high schools.

Once you identify which test you perform better on, pursue that test with a passion.  Purposely study and prepare between takes.  

IMPORTANT:  All students have access to FREE practice resources through their student portal for the SAT/ACT/PERT (used for placement at PBSC) and others

To access additional study resource through your portal:

1.  Search for "Gale Research."   

2. Then, click the 2nd tile   "Peterson's Test Prep." 

3. Once you enter Peterson's Test Prep, you will need to create an account by clicking "log in or sign up."  Create an account and save your password.  

4. Click "Prep for an Exam" which is 1/2 way down the page.  

5. Click "College Test Prep." There you can choose study materials for all sorts of tests, including the ACT, SAT, PSAT, etc.
