SDPBC CHOICE SCHOOLS SHOWCASE: OCTOBER 18TH 4:00PM-8:00PM SOUTH FLORIDA FAIRGROUNDS
The Pre-Law Academy’s experiential learning curriculum offers students opportunities to explore different areas of law and experience what it’s like to be a 1L student in law school. It aims to help students bridge the gap between academic courses and real-world legal issues while making connections across the legal and civic communities.
Our proprietary curriculum is presented in a format that is always interactive, engaging, and very often humorous. It is an entertaining and informative introduction to the law and the American legal system for today’s youth. The Pre-Law Studies experimental activities focus on skills-building, collaboration, and self-reflection. Experimental activities give students a chance to learn by doing, to think critically, to work in collaboration, and to explore—or discover—what inspires their passion in the law.
Here we believe that when students react to learning they will always fail. However, when students respond to learning they will succeed. After completing the Pre-Law Studies program, students will become enthusiasts of the law and be in a better position to participate in the civic, political, and judicial processes.
